Our Story

From GC2S2 to Blue Solaris

Blue Solaris, formerly known as Global Conflict & Crisis Strategic Solutions (GC2S2), is a Virginia-based nonprofit organization dedicated to building resilience in underserved, post-conflict, and crisis-affected communities. Founded and headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, our mission is to contribute meaningfully during times of crisis by delivering practical, community-centered solutions that create long-term stability, dignity, and self-sufficiency.

Blue Solaris specializes in WASH — Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene — community development, education support, sustainable energy initiatives, and research-driven project planning across the Middle East and Africa. Our approach is rooted in collaboration with local communities, ensuring every initiative is culturally sensitive, needs-based, and designed for lasting impact.

We are registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 88-1256550), and 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to our mission — no overhead, no waste.

What We Do

Holistic Solutions for Lasting Impact

01

Research & Analysis

We research and analyze community needs in the Middle East and Africa to guide our WASH and solar energy projects. Every initiative is designed to be effective and culturally sensitive. By addressing urgent needs and long-term challenges, we help build resilience and lasting peace in the regions we serve.

02

Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)

We provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene education tailored to communities in the Middle East and Africa. By adding small-scale solar projects, we strengthen resilience and support healthier, more self-sufficient futures.

03

Community Development

We focus on strengthening infrastructure and integrating sustainable energy solutions in communities across the Middle East and Africa. Each project is designed to improve living standards, deliver reliable energy, and support long-term growth and self-reliance.

Voices from the Field

What People Are Saying

GC2S2 has helped our community in many ways by assisting building the school, creating an employment program for local women through a skills building workshop for us to learn how to sew. This program also allowed us to contribute to the school by making the uniforms for the children.
